Vivienne Bromley

President
Read Bio

Vivienne Bromley was born in Welland, Ontario and attended elementary schools in three different provinces before staying “put” in lovely West Vancouver in 1969. She attended Sentinel Secondary School and then the University of British Columbia completing a Bachelor of Education degree with Honour Standing in 1979. Due to the demands of a mother with twins, the next stage of Vivienne’s career took her to the real estate industry. At this point, she realized that when you truly enjoy working with people, the skills you acquire in various careers are transferable.

In 2006, Vivienne became very interested in the people who wanted to run our country and as a result got heavily involved with the Conservative Party and met John Weston. She assisted in his 2006 and 2008 campaigns before being employed as his Assistant; working with him until 2015. During that period of time, Vivienne was very fortunate to meet a tremendous number of people, listen to their needs and help them with any problems relating to Federal mandates. John Weston and Vivienne realized that there was a special need in the community for a person in this position and thus developed a community program that touched on over 50 different sectors.

For our diverse and expansive riding Vivienne became the “Liaison for Community Sectors”. "Sectors" are the fabric of every community. When like-minded people come together and shape their missions and goals, they unify and become "committees". These groups become our community sectors and these volunteers play a vital role in our society. They understand the kind of contribution that can be made through commitment and willingness to work as a team. Vivienne likes to quote Margaret Mead, who said "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world; Indeed it is the only thing that ever has."
